Sanctioned Amateur Fights Now Available for Apex Members

With Apex MMA being part of Muay Thai Ontario, our athletes will now be eligible to participate in MTO-sanctioned events across the province. This ensures:

• Fair matchmaking based on experience and skill level

Apex’s Coaches Will Be in Your Corner

Competition can be intimidating—but you won’t be doing it alone.

Apex MMA will have registered MTO-certified coaches available to fully support our competitors. Whether you’re entering your first amateur Muay Thai fight or building experience for future MMA competition, our coaching staff will be in your corner—literally and figuratively.

A Full Competition Program Is Coming to Apex MMA

For 2026, Apex is developing a dedicated competition program for members who want to take their training further. This program will be open to athletes from all disciplines—Muay Thai, kickboxing, MMA, and jiu jitsu—and will include:

• Conditioning and technical sessions tailored for fighters

• Sparring rounds designed for competitive preparation

• Guidance on MTO requirements, registration, and fight readiness

• Team-based training and accountability

• Support for both new and experienced competitors

HOW TO SIGN UP

Apex MMA members will need to register with Muay Thai Ontario as an athlete. More information can be found on the official MTO website. Do not register until you get approval from our Muay Thai coach. There is an annual fee that expires at the end of the year, not a year from when you register.
